Bettina started her career in journalism and then moved into public relations and advertising. Empathetic, intuitive and insightful, Bettina contributes a wealth of expertise and experience gained from an extensive professional communications background.

She was co-owner and Strategy and Client Service Director at Tandem Strategic Brand Consultants and has spent 20 years working as a Brand Communications Strategist to blue-chip, as well as startup clients in South Africa and London.

In 2010 Bettina set up GloWoman to empower and inspire women and is an inspirational writer, mentor and speaker in women’s personal and professional empowerment.

Bettina extended the GloWoman brand into GlowBusiness®, and is a communications strategist, advisor and mentor for Business Growth.  
She assists business owners and organisations with strategic communication and connection –  helping them connect their products to people; from build, through internal and external communications, stakeholder relations and high-level networking; enabling them to build powerful, sustainable brands.

Bettina assists startups in the tech and innovation space and is a mentor and project consultant with Bandwidth Barn.

She is also a mentor for Startup Weekend Cape Town, Launch 48, GovHack, OrtJet and IBM Smartcamp.

GlowBusiness®,  offers action-based strategy consulting, stakeholder relationship management, high-level networking, facilitation, coaching and mentorship to assist business owners.

Bettina also helps business owners to  align their business with the principles of Conscious Capitalism business strategy, to benefit and uplift all stakeholders.
