Create an Inspiring Vision for Your Wonderful Life!

Do you have your own inspiring vision of living your healthiest, happiest, most creatively fulfilling, productive and JOYful Life?

At this time of year there’s a lot of talk about making New Year’s resolutions and setting goals for the coming year.

Instead of setting the same old goals that don’t really inspire us, i.e. “must lose weight”, or “get out of debt”, or “make more money” – it’s a lot more FUN and more compelling to be driven and lead by an inspiring vision for Your Wonderful Life.

Have FUN playing an imagination game.

Visualise YourSelf living happily, healthily, creatively and JOYfully.

What does that look like to You?
What does that feel like?

Imagine it in JOYful detail:

1) What would I LOVE to do?
2) Who would I LOVE to do it with (describe the type of people you’d LOVE to live/work/play with)
3) What would I LOVE to have?
4) What would I LOVE to be?
5) How would I LOVE to express my creativity?
5) How would I LOVE to use my talents and gifts to be of service?

And then begin to put your intention into ACTION.
7) What can I STOP DOING right NOW that will bring me closer to my vision?
8) What can I START DOING right NOW that will bring me closer to my vision?

Have FUN designing the life that You WANT.
And then set your goals to create it.
Be inspired
to live your healthiest, happiest most JOYful Life – because You CAN!

And then set your intention to Rock your Happiness, tune into the Good Stuff and Get Your Glow On!

With Love,

Don’t ‘storm’ your brain – allow inspiration to FLOW ☺

Where, and when do You find You get your best ideas?

When I worked in advertising there was nothing that could freeze my creative juices as instantly as having to sit in a meeting to ‘brainstorm’ – a word that particularly does not resonate with me.
While everyone else was scribbling and trying to outdo each other with ideas, I’d stare at my blank notepad feeling under pressure to write something….anything…
I had nothing at all.
So I’d write my shopping list. Eggs. Loo paper… anything to look like I was ‘thinking’!☺

My brain doesn’t function well when it’s stormed.
I prefer the idea of a brainflow – inspiration that simply presents itself
My best ideas and ‘aha moments’ have always arrived when I’m not in pursuit of  them.

Mostly, it’s when I’m doing something completely mindless, like staring at nothing at all
Mindless staring – out of the window, or at the kitchen wall while I’m waiting for the kettle to boil, or washing dishes  - often rewards me with great insights and ideas!

The kitchen wall. Does this look like a place of inspiration? :)
Often the staring at the kitchen wall is accompanied by mindless snacking – peanut butter with a spoon, or crackers and cheese -  and while this would not be recommended by nutritionists, I’m frequently blessed with ‘answers’, insights and ideas that appear

Inspiration, clarity and understanding arrive easily when we’re relaxed and open to allowing it.
That’s why so many of us find inspiration arrives when we’re in the shower, or while we’re out walking or running, or as we’re getting ready for bed.

Ideas don’t always arrive when it’s convenient to write them down.
But it’s important that we do, or at least try to consciously remember them, until we can get them down on paper if we need to.  Because as easily as they arrive, so they can float off into the either…. and they may or may not return.

We can’t worry and stress our way to inspiration. Insights and understanding can’t be forced. We’ve got to be still and empty our minds to allow them in.
Meditation is a great way to do this – in whatever form you choose.

You don’t need to eat peanut butter and stare at a wall to get your best ideas, but you’ve got to be relaxed and open.

So next time you’re storming your brain for inspiration – relax, stop thinking, do something else, or just be still, allow it to flow and Get Your Glow On!

With Love,

Get Your Imagination On :)

"Imagination is everything.  It is a preview of life's coming attractions." ~ Albert Einstein
When we were children we let our imagination run freely. We played fantasy games with fantasy friends and imagined unlimited possibilities.

As we became adults, many of us disconnected from our imagination, as the world that we live in emphasises reason and rational thinking.

But to live our most authentic and joyful lives, it is crucial that we get in touch with our imaginative self, in order to create the life that we want.
"Live more in your imagination. Give yourself the freedom to wander in unfamiliar territory in your mind and to explore new possibilities in your fantasies, excluding nothing. These imaginative meanderings will ultimately become the catalysts for living an unlimited life." - Dr. Wayne Dyer
Everything that we see around us was first imagined by someone, before it was created.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create." ~ Albert Einstein
People often tell me that they “don’t have any imagination”. Of course, that’s absolutely not true :) They have just become temporarily disconnected from it.

It’s hard to connect to your imagination when you’re stressed, agitated or distracted.
Creativity and inspiration come when your mind is relaxed.

Play, laugh, have fun and relax and you’ll connect more easily to your creative source.
"A happy brain is a balanced brain. And a laughing brain is a creative brain." ~ Anne Wilson Schaef
Meditation will help you get in touch with your imagination.
Take some time to be still, breathe and go within.

When you use your imagination to envision the life that you want, you become the creator of your reality, as opposed to a victim of your circumstances.

Have fun creating your own 'Mind Movie' of the life that you want.
Imagine your life exactly as you would have it. Picture it in detail.
See yourself as relaxed, joyful, radiantly healthy, powerful, courageous, abundant and loving.
“When you run inspiring, imaginative pictures through the movie screen of your mind, wonderful things start to happen in your life. You must spend some time every day, even if it is just a few minutes, in the practice of creative envisioning.  See yourself as you want to be.”~ Robin Sharma
When you imagine the life that you want, you’re connecting to your soul.
Allow your soul complete freedom and don’t limit your thinking.

Everyone has their own version of reality that is true for them. By using your imagination to envision what you want, you can create yours.
"One of the saddest lines in the world is, 'Oh come now - be realistic.' The best parts of this world were not fashioned by those who were realistic. They were fashioned by those who dared to look hard at their wishes and gave them horses to ride." ~ Richard Nelson Bolles
Dare to dream whatever your heart desires. Imagine that you are living your most joyful life and you’ll begin to create that reality.
