Allowing Opportunities to Get Your Glow On :)

We needn’t look back with regret at ‘missed opportunities’ or ‘the one that got away’.

There is no shortage of opportunities available to us. In our abundant Universe, opportunities abound :)
“No matter what did or did not happen in your past, the present remains the endless fount of miraculous opportunities.” ~ Marianne Williamson
We live in the totality of possibilities – available to each and every one of us :) And when we’re ready and willing to allow them, opportunities appear.

Being ready and willing to allow opportunities means that you have to be clear on what you want and commited to achieving it.
"The moment one definitely commits oneself, the Providence moves, too. All sorts of things occur to help that would never otherwise occurred. A stream of events issues from the decision, raising unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way."~ W.H. Murray.
You need to start preparing for the opportunities that you want. Unless you’re prepared to accept them, those opportunities are going to keep passing you by.

Being prepared means doing what needs to be done, learning what you need to know and putting yourself in a position where you are ready to accept opportunities when they appear. When you show up consistently for what you want, you’ll create more opportunities to get there :)
“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” ~ Seneca
You can create the opportunities you want by asking for them and actively seeking them out. When you start taking steps towards what you want, you’ll start to see opportunities appear.

Don't sit around and complain that 'there aren't any opportunities'. Start doing what you love and get out and share it with your friends, your neighbours, community organisations and anyone who needs it.
Just get on with it :) , make mistakes, learn as you go, get better at it and opportunities will soon be knocking at your door :)

You’ll invite more opportunities by sharing more, giving more, serving more and loving more as you allow Abundance to flow.
"Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, 'What's in it for me?'" ~ Brian Tracy
Some of our greatest opportunities arise out of adversity, so we need to learn to recognise our blessings in disguise :)
“Sometimes, certain of God's blessings arrive by shattering all the windows” ~ Paulo Coelho
Challenging circumstances always provide us with opportunities to develop, learn and grow :)
“You can learn to view each apparent obstacle as an opportunity to develop a new quality, strength, skill, insight or wisdom and be grateful for the lessons. Each challenge is an opportunity for growth and expansion.”~ Jack Canfield
You were born to do what you love :), to Rock your Passion and share your greatest gifts in service to the world.
“There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love; there's only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen.” ~ Wayne Dyer.
All the opportunities to live your Most JOYful Life are available to you when you allow them to appear.
Are you ready and willing to expect, recognise and accept the opportunities to Rock your Happiness and Get Your Glow On? :)

Stop Fighting, Start Loving :) and Create Your Most Joyful Life :)

If you’re feeling weary and worn-out from battling and struggling your way through Life, then it’s time to stop fighting, and embrace your Joy :)

Most of us have been taught to ‘fight for what you want’, ‘fight back’, ‘fight the good fight’, ‘keep fighting’ , ‘soldier on’ and ‘beat the competition’.

But Life is not supposed to be about fighting one exhausting battle after another :)
“You need not wrestle for your good. Your good flows to you most easily when you are relaxed, open, and trusting.” ~ Alan Cohen
At one point in my life I remember getting out of bed each weekday morning, and mentally pulling on my suit of armour, before clunk, clunk, clunking my way into my office, ready to ‘do battle’ with the day ahead.
Thankfully I realised that it wasn’t any fun and decided to enjoy my life instead :)

If you believe that Life is a struggle and that you have to ‘fight’ something, then you’re coming from a place of fear.
Fighting drains your energy and is stressful and counter-productive.
“You can never become a great man or woman until you have overcome anxiety, worry, and fear. It is impossible for an anxious person, a worried one, or a fearful one to perceive truth; all things are distorted and thrown out of their proper relations by such mental states, and those who are in them cannot read the thoughts of God. ~ Wallace D. Wattles
It’s impossible to perceive clarity and connect to your inspiration and enthusiasm when you are stressed, anxious and fearful, as you disconnect from your Authentic Self.

When you choose to live in integrity and embrace your Joy, you’re coming from a loving place in your heart, and your life will reflect that harmony. You feel empowered, inspired and energised.
“You cannot struggle to joy. Struggle and joy are not on the same channel. You joy your way to joy. You laugh your way to success. It is through your joy that good things come.” ~ Abraham-Hicks
Life is not a battlefield :) You can choose to embrace Joy whatever your situation, and focus on the Good Stuff.
“Our civilization has not done a good job with the energies of delight and joy. Yet these emotions are the very essence of life and what directs your inner guidance to bring abundance to your life.”
~
Dr. Christiane Northrup
Focus your thoughts on what makes you feel good, do what makes you happy, have more fun, lighten up, love YourSelf more, and choose to enJOY Life.
“The more joyful you are, the more well-being flows to you.” ~ Abraham-Hicks
  • You can choose to embrace Wellness, instead of ‘fighting’ illness.
  • You don’t have to ‘beat’ the competition and ‘fight your way to the top’.
  • You don’t have to argue and fight to prove that you’re better, or that others are wrong.
  • You don’t have to fight to defend yourself every time others don’t agree with you.
  • You don’t have to take offence at other people’s behaviour.
Just show up as your Most Wonderful You :)
“Everything you are against weakens you. Everything you are for empowers you.”
 ~
Dr Wayne Dyer
Life is so much easier and more fun :) when you allow yourself to connect to your Joy and create the outcomes you want, instead of fighting for results.
"I create easily and effortlessly when I let my thoughts come from the loving space of my own heart." ~ Louise L. Hay
Take off your armour, put down your weapons, love YourSelf more, Be your Most Wonderful You, and Create your Most Joyful Life :)

If you often feel like you’re just going through the motions and lacking enthusiasm for life then it’s time to Rock Your Passion and Get on Purpose.
“Passion is a feeling that tells you: This is the right thing to do. Nothing can stand in my way. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says. This feeling is so good that it cannot be ignored. I’m going to follow my bliss and act upon this glorious sensation of joy” ~ Dr Wayne Dyer.
    • What is it that you LOVE to do?
    • What comes to you effortlessly?
    • What makes you feel ALIVE?
Every single one of us is blessed with unique talents and abilities that we’ve been given to use in service to others.

Rather than just living a lacklustre hum-drum life, wouldn’t you rather be fulfilling your potential, using your talents and abilities to do what you love?
You can’t serve yourself or be of service to others, when you’re disconnected from your own happiness. You’ll find your greatest happiness when you do what you love to do.
“To be “on purpose” means you’re doing what you love to do, doing what you’re good at and accomplishing what’s important to you. When you truly are on purpose, the people, resources, and opportunities you need naturally gravitate toward you. The world benefits, too, because when you act in alignment with your true life purpose, all of your actions automatically serve others.”
    ~
    Jack Canfield
When you do what you passionately love to do, and give your talents in service to the world, you’ll find yourself in sync with your life and the world around you.
Work is no longer a chore, but a calling that inspires you to release the potential you were born with and fills you with enthusiasm.

    Get Your Imagination On :)

"Imagination is everything.  It is a preview of life's coming attractions." ~ Albert Einstein
When we were children we let our imagination run freely. We played fantasy games with fantasy friends and imagined unlimited possibilities.

As we became adults, many of us disconnected from our imagination, as the world that we live in emphasises reason and rational thinking.

But to live our most authentic and joyful lives, it is crucial that we get in touch with our imaginative self, in order to create the life that we want.
"Live more in your imagination. Give yourself the freedom to wander in unfamiliar territory in your mind and to explore new possibilities in your fantasies, excluding nothing. These imaginative meanderings will ultimately become the catalysts for living an unlimited life." - Dr. Wayne Dyer
Everything that we see around us was first imagined by someone, before it was created.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create." ~ Albert Einstein
People often tell me that they “don’t have any imagination”. Of course, that’s absolutely not true :) They have just become temporarily disconnected from it.

It’s hard to connect to your imagination when you’re stressed, agitated or distracted.
Creativity and inspiration come when your mind is relaxed.

Affirmations for Common Excuses, from Dr Wayne Dyer.

I’m a big fan of Dr Wayne Dyer. “Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.”  Isn't that great to know? :)

In his book, Excuses Begone! How to Change Lifelong, Self-Defeating Thinking Habits, he gives us these positive Affirmations for the 18 Most Commonly Used Excuses we use to prevent ourselves from following our bliss:

    1. It will be difficult: I have the ability to accomplish any task I set my mind to with ease and comfort.

    2. It’s going to be risky: Being myself involves no risks. It is my ultimate truth, and I live it fearlessly.

    3. It will take a long time: I have infinite patience when it comes to fulfilling my destiny.

    4. There will be family drama: I would rather be loathed for who I am than loved for who I am not.

    5. I don’t deserve it: I am a Divine creation, a piece of God. Therefore, I cannot be undeserving.

    6. It’s not my nature: My essential nature is perfect and faultless. It is to this nature that I return.

    7. I can’t afford it: I am connected to an unlimited source of abundance.

    8. No one will help me: The right circumstances and the right people are already here and will show up on time.

    9. It has never happened before: I am willing to attract all that I desire, beginning here and now.

    10. I’m not strong enough: I have access to unlimited assistance. My strength comes from my connection to my Source of being.

    11. I’m not smart enough: I am a creation of the Divine mind; all is perfect, and I am a genius in my own right.

    12. I’m too old (or not old enough): I am an infinite being. The age of my body has no bearing on what I do or who I am.

    13. The rules won’t let me: I live my life according to Divine rules.

    14. It’s too big: I think only about what I can do now. By thinking small, I accomplish great things.

    15. I don’t have the energy: I feel passionately about my life, and this passion fills me with excitement and energy.

    16. It’s my personal family history: I live in the present moment by being grateful for all of my life experiences as a child.

    17. I’m too busy: As I unclutter my life, I free myself to answer the callings of my soul.

    18. I’m too scared: I can accomplish anything I put my mind to, because I know that I am never alone.

"Tune into" your Abundance by consciously affirming the positive, and Get Your Glow On :)
